Heartland has been forced to fix the breach and reissue credit cards for all that were compromised. Since the numbers of this breach are so large Heartland payments is now charging an annual or monthly compliance fee to their customers. When you figure in their compliance fee our Restaurant merchant account is much cheaper and more secure.
